Virgin Atlantic are not the cheapest airline for business class but there are a couple of reasonable deals to the West Coast currently on Ee Eu fares from Luxembourg. Virgin are also offering some extra miles to Tel Aviv with their new daily service from London Heathrow starting on 25 September 2019. Flying Club members get a bonus of 3,000 miles when you book a return flight. Just make sure you register before you book your flight. Fares start from just £599 in Premium and £1129 in Upper Class. RR and I have just booked to go one way in each next year.
You need to book by 5 July 19 and fly before 31 December 19. The offer is for 1,500 bonus miles per sector, capped at 2 sectors. You can register for the offer here.

Melia hotels – up to 45% off
We have stayed in quite a few Melia hotels including ME London, Melia Alicante, Gran Melia Madrid and more recently Melia Hanoi. I find their The Level club rooms very good. Their week-long sale is offering some impressive discounts if you are a member of Melia Rewards – it’s free to join and you get Gold level membership with the American Express Platinum card.
As a MeliáRewards member, you will have exclusive access to 25% off all the Wonder Week hotels, plus the other discounts available to everyone else and offers such as kids stay free at selected hotels! Combined these offer a total of up to 45% off. The deals must be booked by 10 June 2019.

ITA Matrix also showing ARN-HGK with QR £1395, is that a good price or should I wait??
Taking my first ever J class flight tonight, so unbelievably excited and it’s all thanks to you guys @ TLFL. Doing an EX EU ARN-BKK with QR…..review to follow should you wish to use it.
Matt
That’s decent to HKG. Remember you would still have to fly from bkk to hkg anyway.
We paid a bit more from arn direct to hkt. When we worked it out, the benefits of getting to hkt direct from doh were better.
Enjoy, you will love it. Are you spending any extra time in Stockholm?
I’m sure you will love it Matt. Yes that’s about as good as you will get to Hong Kong.
