British Airways winter schedule
British Airways has released their December schedule. They had stopped flying from Gatwick for lockdown but the good news for Gatwick fans is that they are starting again in December for long haul only as before. The real ramp up in traffic starts on the 14 December, with other changes from 7 December. There are a good range of winter sun destinations now available and with the reduced quarantine this probably makes places such as Jamaica and Cancun more viable for a holiday.
Here is what we can expect in December for weekly frequency of flights, but obviously it depends on changes such as travel corridors and border changes.

Birmingham to London City?!
It’s meant to Belfast. Not sure how that happened ????
What about Bangkok and Kuala Lumpur?
If they are not on the list they are not flying there. Both countries are closed to foreign visitors for the foreseeable future and Thailand do not even allow most flights inbound except for repatriation and charter flights.
No SJO on the list ? I have a flight to SJO booked for the 26th of January from LGW, however, this flight has already been cancelled twice by BA (7th and 5th of January). One more cancellation and its refund time.
Not related to December but I’ve received a seat change notification from BA for my LAS-LHR flight in early May and it’s now an A350 with the new Club Suites! Hope it stays that way and doesn’t switch back to a 777.
My March flight to Vegas (which I don’t think I will be taking, unfortunately) is still a 747 according to my booking though!!!
Yes it looks like for summer they have changed to the A350 which is great news.
