Now that the previous oneworld fares from Paris have finished, there is a new ex EU offer that may be of interest and has fewer catches. This offer is for any oneworld carrier from Amsterdam to certain US destinations. You can just buy a single ticket, unlike the previous companion fares from Paris. Amsterdam can often have some good bargains to the Far East as well with BA, so it is always worth a look when considering ex EU. If you haven’t done an ex EU before you can read my beginners guide here.
This means you could travel on any of the oneworld airlines with a connection such as Iberia via Madrid or BA or American via Heathrow. Personally having just flown with American, I would pick them on one of their B777s. Here is my review of the B777-200. The slightly better B777-300ER business class review will be featured this Sunday on the blog.
There are some rules but none seem too onerous. You must travel outbound Tuesday-Thursday and inbound Mon-Thursday and stay a minimum of 7 days. The fares must be booked by 6 September 2017.
- New York from £1368
- Chicago from £1358
- Washington from £1378
- Las Vegas from £1348
- Toronto from £1260
- Miami from £1439
To save even more money I would consider booking with eBookers as you would get around £13 on their loyalty scheme to spend towards a hotel per ticket and you could also look at hotel+flight which can often work out cheaper too. If you chose to go to eBookers via Topcashback, you could also get a further 1-4.5% cashback on top. Obviously, if you have a BA Amex, you may decide you would rather book direct with at BA.com to get the extra Avios by paying with your BA Amex.
Hat tip to Steffan from insideflyer.de for the information.

Does seem a little bit more expensive now than a few weeks ago. BA were selling Business seats from AMS-LGW-JKK for 1358 euros, now they are selling for around 1540 mark. I live in Portugal just a shame that the same deals are not available, in fact it is probably the most expensive European City to fly from when travelling long haul.
That’s still a good deal to JFK. I have seen the odd good deal from Oporto but not Lisbon.
