BA buy Avios 40% bonus
BA has launched a new buy Avios bonus which gives 40% extra when you buy or gift Avios. I would not recommend using the offer unless you need to get the Avios now. BA usually offer 50% as do Qatar and Aer Lingus so there is bound to be a better offer soon.
If you do want to buy, the best way to get Avios quickly and cheaply is usually the Boost function which allows you to pay to multiple the Avios you have already earned. You can read more about that option in this article.
4000 Avios for £125 spend
The Wine Flyer is BA’s wine and drinks store where you can earn and redeem Avios.
There’s a 4000 Avios bonus + 5 Avios per £1 spend on any order containing more than £125 in basket value with the Wine Flyer. You don’t even need to buy by the case. Just use the code FESTIVE. Obviously, you can also double dip with the BA Amex offer as well to get 8000 Avios which is amazing value. You get 4,000 Avios on eligible spend of £125+ online at The Wine Flyer by 15/12/2023 with BA Amex.
To buy 4000 Avios with the current bonus costs £69, but with this, you get £125 worth of wine or other drinks. There is even an interesting mixed case for frequent flyers inspired by British Airways First and Business Class.

5000 Marriott point bonus
Marriott Bonvoy™ has launched an interesting and relatively easy promotion to earn 5,000 points per stay when you book an upgraded room or suite for two nights or more. The offer is valid for “premium” rooms and suites. It does not specify what a qualifies as a premium room. The offer applies to hotels in the US and Canada.
You must book by Sunday 18 February 024 for stays until 19 February 2024. You also must use promotional code M41.
2000 Virgin point bonus
Virgin Wines has 50% off a case of 12 wines and a 2000-point bonus, which could be an easy way to get some extra points and enjoy some wine too. The offer ends 31 January 2024. Simply go to Virgin Wines and make sure your Virgin Red ID is in the Personal details section before you check out.
You need to be a Winebank member to qualify but you get free express delivery and a free gift as well including wine glasses or a bottle of wine. To get the bonus, you need to go to the Virgin Wines website and sign up as a Winebank member. There is a special case “Mixed/Red/White WineBank” which you need to order to qualify. You can cancel the monthly savings at any points and withdraw the funds.
Winebank is essentially a savings account which pays interest in wine! It allows you to save £15 to £100 per month, and you earn £1 to spend on wine per £5 you save. You can then redeem it on wine.
