Hampton by Hilton London Heathrow Bath Road
Hilton has announced the signing of Hampton by Hilton London Heathrow Bath Road. This will be the first Hampton at Heathrow, although there is already one at Gatwick.
Located near the M4 motorway, the hotel will be a short 7-minute drive from Heathrow Airport Terminals 2 and 3. Bath Road is well served by local buses to the airport if you don’t have much luggage and there is also a Hoppa bus service.
The 157-room hotel will offer onsite parking and Hampton by Hilton’s usual amenities including flexible communal spaces, complimentary Wi-Fi and a hot breakfast, and a retail market for on-the-go food, drink and essentials. Each room will benefit from the brand’s newest interior design with warm colour palettes, a work desk, and a 55” HDTV.
There are already a number of Hiltons near Heathrow. The Hilton Garden Inn London Heathrow Terminals 2 and 3 is actually at Terminal 2. I really like it, but it can be pricey due to the location. My next choice would be Hilton London Heathrow Airport Terminal 4. This has been refurbished recently and offers great value and some fun aviation touches. Then there is Hilton London Heathrow Airport Terminal 5, which is a bus ride from T5, and DoubleTree by Hilton London Heathrow Airport, which is also on Bath Road.

More business class flight offers from €1500
La Compagnie, the all-business class airline that operates from Paris and Milan to New York, is celebrating its 10th birthday. I did the flight a few years ago and really enjoyed the experience which feels very exclusive given the small number of passengers on the A321neo. You can read about my experience here.
To celebrate their anniversary they are offering some special prices return:
- Paris to New York €1500
- Milan to New York €1500

Great to see an addition of the Hampton Inn – hopefully pricing will be reasonable and easily accessible with the local buses (I find the Hotel Hoppa buses prices daylight robbery). Wondering if this will be a conversion from another brand as I do not remember seeing any new building development along Bath Road. Will be a plus if it has also great views of the airport.
When will this open?
Cheers!
It appears to be a new build Hampton between the Axis House and Strata House office buildings; opposite the Renaissance.
Thanks Michele for this spot. Newer LHR options tend to fly under the radar initially. Long gone are the days when the HGI T2 did.
It is worth mentioning the Hilton Garden in at Hatton Cross. It is right at the entrance of the Piccadilly Line, which is a very quick transfer to T5. This Hilton is very reasonable: this week we stay there for £100. This is an easier transfer to T5 than from the Hilton in T4
It’s not right at the entrance of the Piccadilly line, that’s nonsense. It’s a good 5 min walk and if you’ve more than hand baggage then it really can be a trek.
