Collect Triple Avios with Aer Lingus
Aer Lingus is offering triple Avios and £100 off return flights direct from Manchester. The available destinations are Barbados, New York, and Orlando, for travel between 1 November 2024 and 30 June 2025. This offer is only valid until Friday, 25 October, so you’ll need to act quickly.
We’ve checked some flights, and you can fly to Barbados in early December for £2,090, making it well worth exploring as this route is typically very expensive, especially at that time of the year.
The cheapest BA fare for the same date range is just under £3000 and now you can earn Tier Points and Avios on Aer Lingus it’s a great option. The only thing is, you have to fly from Manchester which isn’t the best airport in the world at the best of times.

Finnair Adds Flights to US and Asia for Next Summer
Finnair has announced they are adding extra flights to the US and Asia for their Summer 2025 season. The US flights include Chicago, Dallas, Seattle and Los Angeles. Seattle and Los Angeles are getting two additional flights weekly, Chicago will be a daily route and Dallas will go from six flights weekly up to eleven.
Increasing our capacity to the United States brings our customers excellent connectivity to North America and beyond. Customers can connect via Dallas and Chicago to our partner American Airlines’ extensive network in North and South America, while Seattle and Los Angeles offer a gateway to for example other parts of the West Coast and Hawaii, through our partners American Airlines and Alaska Airlines, says Finnair’s Chief Revenue Officer Christine Rovelli.
The additional Asian flights will be to China and Japan. Finnair will fly daily to Osaka which likely ties in with their hosting of World Expo 25 and four times per week to Nagoya. They have added one weekly flight to Shanghai to make it four times weekly.

I would like to add that the aer lingus £100 off certain routes in my experience is a con.
I had priced up one of the routes in the offer only the day before, exactly the same dates, £100 applied and exactly the same price. All they did was up the cash price and put a line through it reducing it back to the price the day before. 🤬
That’s really frustrating!
