I thought there was a time when BA promised to release at least some (was it 2 or 4?) Business Reward seats on each flight but sadly, to some locations, they’re not releasing any at all currently. Could be tricky getting my CW seats to CPT in 2026, may have to pay cash but if I do it won’t be to BA!
They do guarantee reward seats on every flight, I would imagine if you can’t see them, you are unfortunately getting there too late. The most popular ones get booked the moment they are released which is 355 days before at midnight. Cape Town is specifically one of the most popular reward seat destinations.
