British Airways Club Europe bargains
Whether you want to top up the tier points or simply fancy a European break somewhere, BA have some good deals on Club Europe flights that are not much more than you would pay for economy. Although the leg room is no better than economy except in row 1 on most aircraft, it is a better experience. You get a full three-course meal now, champagne, wine and drinks plus the middle seat free. You also get lounge access which is useful if you don’t have status. You can read my reviews of Club Europe here.
Here are the destinations under £200:
- Venice £175 (see my top things to do in Venice here)
- Amsterdam £165
- Luxembourg £166 (see my guide here)
- Bordeaux £165
- Alicante £191 (see my weekend break guide here)
- Verona £192
And a few more that are still a good price….
- Bilbao £200
- Barcelona £215
- Catania, Sicily £271 (160 TP return)
- Gothenburg £241
- Helsinki £247 (160 TP return)
The rules:
- Travel: Permitted 20 Mar through 14 Jul or 30 Aug through 6 Nov on the first international sector.
- Minimum stay: nights or a Saturday night
- Maximum stay: 1 month
- Transfers: Unlimited
- Stopovers: Unlimited
- Refundable: No
- Changeable: For £100

British Airways giving away flights
British Airways is appealing to customers travelling between Friday April 19 and Monday April 22nd to tell them why they’ve been a Good Egg over the weekend, by Tweeting British Airways using the hashtag #BAGoodEgg – to be in with a chance of winning a pair of business class flights to New York.
Calling all Good Eggs! Have you given or received an act of kindness on a journey with us over the bank holiday? Tweet your story using #BAGoodEgg and we’ll reward the most heart-warming story with two return Club World tickets to New York. T&Cs apply: https://t.co/jFruMbuSZA pic.twitter.com/M6UbCxlx4g

Across the weekend, Good Egg nominations and stories will be collated and considered by a panel of eggs-perts, with the most heart-warming story winning the luxury flights.
British Airways’ Director of Brand and Customer Experience, Carolina Martinoli said;
“Thoughtful service sits at the heart of British Airways, so we are delighted that we are able to reward a lucky customer with special flights to celebrate everyday acts of kindness.”
I particularly liked this reply on Twitter!!
As a smoker I was gasping for a fag half way over the Atlantic, a hostie seen my distress & kindly cracked open a window for me to have a smoke. The pilot quit half way through the flight and having played GTA I said I’d take us down. Landed with no problems. Everyone cheered

Continuing in the spirit of giving, on Easter Sunday British Airways customer service agents will be giving the Easter bunny a helping hand by sharing 20,000 salted caramel Hotel Chocolat eggs with customers flying out of Heathrow Terminal 5.
At the British Airways Family Check-in Zone egg-cited children will be presented with an Easter Activity Pack that will guide them on a treasure hunt through the terminal, before boarding their flight.
No1 lounges discount
If you don’t have lounge access through status or a scheme like Priority Pass you may wish to buy lounge access when not flying in business class. I also find that it’s a really nice gift for people that don’t fly in business class and may not want to splash out on a lounge. The recent No 1 lounges Groupon offer has reappeared and it offers over 30% discount on some lounges. You can use the Groupon for lounge access until valid for use until 31 August 2019.
You can choose from three options:
- £20 for entry to No1 Lounges for one; Birmingham, Edinburgh (29% off)
- £22.50 for entry to No1 Lounges for one; Heathrow, Gatwick (up to 34% off)
- £28 for entry to Clubrooms for one; Gatwick, Birmingham (up to 26% off)
No1 Lounges entry includes: fully tended bars | seasonal fresh food | self-service food from pantry table | hot dish from the kitchen | selection of drinks from the bar
Clubroom entry includes: hosted table service | hot seasonal dishes freshly prepared | cold dishes | beers | Veuve-Cliquot or Moët champagne | wines | spirits | tranquil space to relax
I would recommend paying the extra for the Clubrooms from my experiences as No 1 Lounges can be very busy. You can only buy one per person but you are allowed to also buy them as gifts for other people.
You can read my reviews of some of the No 1 and Clubrooms here.
The No 1 Groupon page is here.

A treasure hunt through the terminal? What on earth are BA thinking? Already Egg-cited children, high on chocolate, running, with egg-cited screams all over T5? So glad we flew on Tuesday on the actual Easter weekend!!!!
Bordeaux Club Europe return goes as cheap as 142 GBP, eg November 13-20 on ba.com, highly recommended for wine tasting tours and great food
What’s the best way to search for the cheapest BA CE flights you’ve mentioned above? Thank you!
BA have a low fare finder which will show you the cheapest prices for Club.
Fare ended now?
