Qatar sale update
Qatar has announced that their Black Friday sale will start on Tuesday 21 November, so we will bring you all the UK and Europe bargain flights. I’m not hopeful that we will see a lot of great fares this year, but I think we will see some good fares from Oslo and possibly Sophia at least. I doubt there will be much of interest from the UK, but we can always hope!
Barcelo and Royal Hideaway hotels up to 55% off
There is a very generous discount available for Barcelo, Royal Hideaway, Dukes in Dubai and Occidental hotels. Barcelo’s hotels range from standard modern 4 stars to the more luxurious 5* spa resort Asia Gardens in Spain. I have visited the Royal Hideaway Corales Beach – Adults Only in Tenerife and was very impressed with the modern luxury hotel which features some suites with pools. New York from £1050 business class
La Compagnie, the all-business class service from Europe has launched its Black Friday sale with some great prices. You can read my review of the service here from Paris.
The fare is only available until Tuesday 21 November, so you will need to be quick if you want to take advantage. There is great availability for the fares throughout 2024.

Well, QR did have that sort of sale recently, out from scandi, back into ams… even if we have to mix and match a bit, could be worth the effort. Didn’t get our act together on time with that one. Not holding our breath tho atm.

Do Qatar Avios bookings become any easier if you try the return “multi city” option and/or route back outside of the UK e.g. LON (any) – DXB/AUH out and then DXB/AUH – AMS back??
There is often more availablity if you can fly to another European city so it is always worth looking. Are you trying on Qatar or BA’s website? It’s also worth searching each leg individually as sometimes it is easier to find availablity that way.
