East, and Southeast Asia form some of the world’s most fascinating travel destinations. With a rich historical tapestry spanning hundreds of years, they dazzle every type of visitor. Here you’ll find ancient, majestic temples and futuristic neon-glitter cities sitting side by side, with an unending list of things to explore. Because of this, they’re hugely popular BA reward seat destinations for Avios collectors.
Here’s some of the best reward seat availability on offer right now, courtesy of Reward Flight Finder:
London – Shanghai
If you’re happy to travel in Premium Economy, there are many seat options in February and March 2025, as well as June to September 2025. From May 2025 onwards you’ll find a great selection of Business Class reward seat availability, with lots of days having 4 seats to book. If it’s a First Class redemption you’re looking for you’ll need to be able to travel pretty soon – the only options right now are between December 2024 and February 2025.
London – Hong Kong
It’s looking pretty patchy at the moment, but you’ll find a decent selection of Premium Economy seats from May 2025, with a fair few dates having 2 seats available. For Business Class redemptions look from September 2025 onwards, where you’ll spot dates with 2 or 3 seats. This is a route we’d always suggest setting Reward Flight Finder Alerts for – the seats get snapped up very quickly for this one.
London – Tokyo
This is another seriously popular reward seat redemption route. It always pays to look a year ahead and set RFF Alerts. If you’re happy to get there in Premium Economy, you’ll find availability from August 2025, with a few dates having 2 seats to book. You’ll spot the odd patch of Business Class availability in July, and September 2025.
London – Kuala Lumpur
For Premium Economy availability, check out June 2025 onwards, where you’ll find a good amount of days with 2 seats available. Business Class availability is pretty good from July 2025 onwards, and August actually has a surprising amount of premium cabin availability at the moment, with lots of days having 2 seats up for grabs.
London – Singapore
If you’re planning on booking Business Class seats for both legs of your journey you need to look at September 2025 and you need to call BA quickly to get those seats locked in! At the moment there’s a nice patch both ways with lots of dates having 2 seats. If you’re happy to book Business Class one way and wait for more availability to come up, or set an RFF Alert, there’s a little patch of Business Class availability outward in August 2025, and patches of return availability in October 2024, and July 2025.
