Short Haul
London Gatwick – Faro
BA reward seat availability is fantastic in March 2025 and then from September to December 2025 – loads of days have up to 6 Economy seats and 4 Business Class seats to book with Avios.
London Gatwick – Lanzarote
There’s some good availability in June 2025, if you’re looking to escape the kiddie crowd! Then from November 2025 to January 2026 there’s a lot of dates with 6 Economy seats and 3 Business Class seats.
London Heathrow – Marseille
There’s plenty of options for reward seat availability between March 2025 and January 2026. Most dates still have 6 Economy seats and 6 Business Class seats to book with your Avios pot.
London Gatwick – Marrakech
You’ll see loads of availability between May 2025 and January 2026 with an abundance of dates having between 6 Economy seats and 6 Business Class seats to book.
London Heathrow – Milan
There’s absolutely loads of reward seat availability between March 2025 and January 2026 at the moment – which is pretty unusual for this route. Most dates are showing up to 6 Economy seats and 6 Business Class seats – but get in quickly for this one.
London Gatwick – Verona
Another unusual occurrence – there’s fabulous availability right now between February 2025 and January 2026, loads of dates having 6 seats to book in both Economy and Business Class. We can’t imagine this will remain the case for long though.
Long Haul
London Heathrow – Bangkok
Without a doubt one of the most in-demand reward seat routes for Avios collectors. If you’re happy to fly Premium Economy you’ll find decent availability between November 2025 and January 2026 – with lots of days having 2 seats up for grabs. There’s a good patch of Business Class availability in November and December 2025, with quite a lot of days having 4 seats to book with Avios.
London Heathrow – Dubai
Another popular route for redemptions, right now there’s great Business Class seat availability through May 2025 to January 2026, with a lot of days having 4-6 seats. If you’re happy plump for Premium Economy, there’s a good selection of dates in this same timeframe with 6 seats.
London Gatwick – Georgetown, Guyana
This one hardly pops up on our radar because availability is very rare, but if you look now you’ll see some spots of Business Class reward seat availability across July, August and September 2025, as well as January 2026. There are also some good patches of Premium Economy between June 2025 and January 2026, with dates having between 2 and 4 seats to book with points.
London Gatwick – Turks and Caicos
Run, don’t walk…because at the moment there’s some lovely spots of Business Class reward seat availability in May 2025, through to January 2026, with some days having up to 4 seats to snap up. Premium Economy is also good during that timeframe, with some days having between 4 and 6 seats available.

Ha ha ha. Did you mean rheumatic breaks? Lol
Just thought readers would be interested in my virgin upper class experience
Had to go out for a short trip booked at the last minute
Seat map at booking showed the new neo plane , had just done the status match to gold so excited to try the new seat or even the retreat
Outbound plane changed to old day before
Inbound plane changed after check in to old
Both seats and plane dreadful
Crew lovely
Food ok drinks poor
I would have flown emirates had I known it was the old place. Only about £300 more both ways – about the same times
Surely this maybe a con / checked other flights and destinations all seem to show the new neo seat map for upper class
It’s like buying a cashmere jumper from
m and s and finding it’s acrylic.
I just wonder whether they ever planned to fit the new neo on my flights
Suffice to say virgin havd lost me I won’t be flying with them again until they have refurbished their entire fleet
The old upper class seat is appalling
Slightly better than BA s old club world but I always check the seat map and wouldn’t book BA for destinations with old club world
Surely trade descriptions apply ?
