British Airways nicks my catchphrase!
BA seem to be either trying to steal my trade mark or promote my website!! This is from the official press release “British Airways is offering customers the chance to ‘turn left for less’ with the launch of its luxury sale this week.”
BA luxury sale
The sale is now on until midnight on March 21 2017 and will include reduced fares in First, Club World and Club Europe to many destinations.
The sale includes BA’s newest US destinations, with flights to New Orleans starting from £1995, Fort Lauderdale (Miami) from £1795 and Oakland (San Francisco) from £1995 return, while business class tickets to Montpellier and Nantes start from £124 and £99 respectively.
Overall the sale is nothing to get excited about. However, for fares out of London versus the hassle of an Ex EU, there are some reasonable prices on certain routes. For example, Mauritius is normally around £2400 just for the flight, so with 7 nights accommodation it’s an OK deal. The Club Europe deals are good value in my opinion. Normal prices are at least £200 return for many destinations and only if you stay a Saturday night. Given the revamped Club Europe service I wrote about here starting at the end of March, it could be worth a look.
Some of the deals in the sale include:

Ex-EU flights
Many of the BA Ex EU bargains such as Honolulu, seem to have disappeared in recent months. I have had a quick look and can see that during July and August you can get an ex EU from Dublin to the US West Coast for approximately £1500 in Club World. This is the usual price for the summer period.
Some specific ex EU examples:
Berlin to Hong Kong from £1567
Dublin to Las Vegas from £1492
Dublin to San Francisco from £1582
