If you are planning a trip to Asia in the next 9 months, there are some interesting deals around at the moment. As the current Qatar sale is only for mainly last minute trips, it may be worth a look if you don’t want to chance waiting for another sale, or don’t like the idea of an ex EU.
Malaysia Airlines business class flights sale
The new Malaysia Airlines business class ‘mid year deals’ sale has some excellent prices for flying from the UK in business class. The prices are not as good some of the Qatar ex EU prices we have seen recently, but it would be a quicker option in many cases. The other advantage is that if you are able to travel to London without flying, then any connections will be on the same ticket. This would take some of the stress out of the journey compared to an ex EU. You will also earn tier points and Avios through the BA Executive club as Malaysia are a One World partner.
Their seats are fully flat but not at the standard of Qatar or Cathay Pacific for example. The A380 seats are in a 2-2-2 configuration, so not ideal for solo travellers. The flights involve connecting in Kuala Lumpur but 2 stopovers are included in each ticket for free. Kuala Lumpur is well worth a stop over one way if you have the time.
Tickets must be booked by 31 May 2017.
