Marriott Rolls Out New Targeted Offers
Marriott is sending out a fresh set of targeted bonus offers for stays through 30th April 2025. These promotions are part of Marriott’s regular rotation of targeted incentives.
If you’re a Bonvoy member, now is a great time to check your Promotion page via the Marriott website or app to see if you’ve been selected for an exclusive offer.
Marriott’s targeted bonuses can be a fantastic way to rack up points faster or score free nights, especially if you have upcoming travel plans. These offers are often tailored to your stay history, so you might receive something valuable even if you don’t stay at Marriott properties often.
Details of the exact promotions offered are vague, but people have been reporting offers such as:
- 2,000-4,000 bonus points per stay
- 5,000 bonus points after a set number of nights or stays
- A free night certificate after a set number of nights or stays
I personally haven’t received a targeted offer this time.
If you have an offer, you’ll have to register for it. Once registered, you can track your progress on the app or website.
Marriott Bonvoy members tend to become eligible for targeted bonus offers like these every 12 months, but some people have never received one.
To find out if you’ve been targeted with an offer, click your Marriott Profile and go to Promotions.

Boeing 777X: Will 2026 Finally Be the Year?
There have been never-ending delays in the rollout of Boeing’s highly anticipated new 777X aircraft—so many that we’ve been updating you since 2020.
The 777X will be powered by the world’s largest and most efficient twin-jet engine. However, engine supply constraints, safety issues, disruptions caused by the machinists’ strike, and numerous other challenges have affected production.
Q4 revenue is estimated at $15.2 billion, with a $3.5 billion cash outflow. This highlights the impact of the 52-day machinist strike, which led to a new labour contract and additional charges totalling $1.1 billion on the 777X and 767F.
The discovery of severed thrust links on all four 777X test aircraft has caused major concern. This is yet another setback for Boeing, especially following the recent mid-air blowout of one of its door plugs on an Alaska Airlines 737 Max.
The repeated delays for the 777X have left customers such as Emirates, British Airways, Lufthansa, and Qatar Airways openly frustrated.
Nevertheless, Boeing has confirmed that the first delivery of its flagship 777X is still anticipated in 2026. Despite the challenges, the company remains optimistic about the 777X’s potential.
