Malmaison
Roving Reporter has stayed at quite a few Malmaison hotels but I recently had my first stay at the one in Brighton. I will write a full review shortly but here are a few initial thoughts. Malmaison hotels are very design focussed with a modern, slightly quirky edge. They are not what I would call luxury but a solid 4 star boutique type hotel.
Malmaison have a new offer for a 2 night city break for two, including a 3 course dinner on the first night and continental breakfast both mornings from £159. This is fantastic value even at some of the more expensive locations (apart from London) for 2 nights including one dinner. The offer is available to stay from 17 December to 31 January 2018.
More details can be found here.
Hotel Du Vin
Hotel Du Vin are part of the same group but very different to Malmaison. They have a shabby chic, French style with obviously a strong focus on wine as well as food. The decor tends to be much more traditional and luxurious than Malmaison. I have stayed at the Winchester HDV a couple of times and I enjoy dining there too.
Hotel Du Vin are running an early bird January sale which ends tomorrow. The offer is for a 3 course dinner and full cooked breakfast between 17 December and 9 February 2018 from £109. The offers must be booked by 9 November. There are more details here.
Accor UK sale – Pullman, Sofitel, Novotel etc
There is a new sale from Accor which covers brands such as Sofitel, Pullman, Novotel, M Gallery and more. The offer must be booked by 4 March 2018 for stays from 8 December 2017 until 24 March 2018. The offer is for up to 25% off but you can combine this with other offers to save even more. You can join LeClub Accor’s loyalty program for free and get up to another 10% off. On top of that, you can earn cashback with TopCashback or Quidco which regularly feature up to 15% off the top Accor brands like Sofitel.
This could be a chance to get the Sofitel T5 at a good rate. This is my favourite hotel to stay at Heathrow due to the high standard of accommodation and facilities plus the proximity to T5. You can read my review here.
