Amazing new Emirates video
If you enjoyed the last Emirates video with the cabin crew member standing on the top of the Burj Kalifa, you will love the new one. This one includes a flypast of the world’s tallest building as well.
If you wondered how they made the adverts (I thought it may have been CGI) then you will probably want to watch this interesting video of how they actually got the crew member up there safely. I’m just glad it wasn’t me!

OMG, there is NO WAY you would get me up there !! Amazing video though. Lets see if BA will put someone on top of the Shard !!
???????? Not sure BA has quite the same budget!
Not a EK crew member but a professional sky diver …. There is a story on this from the first time that EK undertook the stunt ….. Repeating smacks of some desperation to fill seats !!
As someone who lives in Inverness and travels for work, this is a real pain. They’re the only link we have to connect to other flights, without it it’s almost impossible.
My Hong Kong flight in early March got cancelled this morning. Was expected! The alternative flight they put me on was April 11th- which suggests to me that BA have been given an advance date of when HKG may re-open!!
Sadly it’s just guess work. Generally the airlines are taken as much by surprise as the rest of us unless it’s the country’s own airline.
