3 nights for 2 on BA Holidays
BA Holidays are often the best value way to fly with BA as you get double tier points on holidays 5 nights or longer and you only have to pay a deposit. Plus you always get a 23kg luggage allowance. If I am booking a long time in advance, I usually add on a hotel night to make it into a holiday, so I keep my money in my bank account until a bit closer!
Although this next offer won’t give double-tier points if you book only three nights, it is worth a look to see if you can snag a bargain. I have previously found some really good hotel deals with BA Holidays.
BA Holidays is offering 3 nights for the price of 2 on selected Autumn city breaks. Prices start from £179pp in economy based on two sharing.
You need to book by 6 August for travel between 1 October 2024 and 31 December 2024 inclusive.
You can choose from the following destinations:
- Nice
- Stockholm
- Venice
- Warsaw
- Prague
- Barcelona
- Budapest
- Lisbon
- Dublin
- Seville
- Glasgow
- Vienna
You can find the offer page here.
Double Virgin Points for Virgin Hotels and extra perks
In celebration of the opening of their London hotel, Virgin Hotels is offering those who join its loyalty and preferences programme, The Know, as well as existing members, the chance to earn double Virgin Points on stays during September to December 2024 when they link their account to Virgin’s rewards club, Virgin Red. Members will earn 14 Virgin Points for every £1 spent on nightly room rates, and soon will also be able to redeem their points for future stays at Virgin Hotels London-Shoreditch.
Guests who book a stay before 1st December 2024, can also take advantage of its Grand Opening offer. This gives you a £75 dine and drink credit per stay to use at either Marlin’s On The Roof, BiBo by Dani Garcia, In-Room Dining or the lobby lounge.
There will now be a phased transformation of the 120-bedroom hotel, located at 45 Curtain Road, to bring standard features of the Virgin Hotels brand to the space, including Sir Richard’s flat, its custom-designed and patented hybrid beds and the Lucy app offering members of The Know a personalised experience. The transformation will also see the hotel’s street-level lobby lounge and café become a pop-up Commons Club – Virgin Hotels’ flagship food and beverage concept where work and play intermingle – before being transformed into an exciting new space later in the year.
Virgin Hotels London-Shoreditch has a range of facilities, including the rooftop bar, swimming pool, Marlin’s Mediterranean restaurant, gym, and treatment rooms.
To book a stay at Virgin Hotels London-Shoreditch visit virginhotels.com/london-shoreditch, with rates starting from £300 per room per night.
Nomad and Graduate hotels now on Hilton – extra perks available through Hilton Impressario
I wrote previously about both Graduate hotels and Nomad hotels joining Hilton but now they are available to book via Hilton.com and also to earn and redeem points on. Sadly Nomad Las Vegas is excluded. The good news is that Nomad are now part of Hilton’s Impressario program. This is a luxury hotel program that you can only book via a specialist agent such as our own partners GTC.
Hilton Impressario is available for Waldorf Astoria, LXR, and Conrad hotels and gives you the following extra perks on the standard flexible rate:
- Daily complimentary full breakfast for up to two people per room
- A complimentary room upgrade, subject to availability at check-in
- A $100 property credit once per stay
- Early check-in and late check-out, subject to availability
- Double Hilton Honors points (valid at select properties)
You can read my mini review of Nomad London here. To book or request a quote for Nomad and other Hilton Impressario hotels, please contact GTC here.

Smart enough of BA not to include any double point routes! But a good deal, agree.
