British Airways Holidays Sale Extended for 48 Hours
The original British Airways sale has been extended for 48 hours and will now officially end on Thursday, October 3rd.
The dates on some of the deals are a bit restrictive but for some warmer winter weather or an early spring holiday, these two deals stand out.
7 nights at the 5* Cap St Georges Hotel and Resort, Cyprus with business class flights from £1154pp for stays between 1st – 30th November 24.
This is a great option for an autumn getaway that isn’t too far. If you book and stay for 5 nights you will also earn double tier points that will net you 320 per person seeing as this is a longer destination.
Seeing as most BA Executive Club Members have a shorter tier point collection year due to the tier point collection year being aligned for everybody, this would be a great way to pop up what you need without breaking the bank or travelling too far away.
7 nights all-inclusive at the 5* Ikos Dassia, Corfu with business class flights from £1,499pp for stays between 1st – 30th April 24.
we have stayed here before and the Ikos brand is now well-recognised as one of the best all-inclusive hotel brands in the world. More recently their prices have skyrocketed, beyond value for money from a personal perspective however this offer represents quite good value.
Again you will get 320 tier points and a very solid week at a great hotel for a very reasonable amount.
There is a similar deal for Ikos Odisia which we reviewed here. We have visited both Dassia and Odisia and like both resorts.

Plaza Premium Lounge Opens in Heathrow Terminal 4
More Lounge news! (seems never ending at the moment). Plaza Premium has opened a new lounge in London Heathrow Terminal 4. It has gone into the space previously occupied by SkyTeam which never re-opened after the Covid-19 pandemic. It can be found opposite Gate 10a and 10b on Level 2 of the departures area. The lounge had a soft opening a few weeks ago and is now ready to welcome all passengers into the sleek and spacious lounge, with panoramic views of the runway.
The small Plaza Premium Lounge by Gate 1b has now closed to make way for this much larger space, but their not so good Blush Lounge close to Gate 2 remains open for now.
The current cost for access for one passenger for 2 hours is £42.73 and 5 hours is £64.80, they are offering a 10% discount with pre-booking on the Plaza Premium website here. The lounge will serve passengers from SkyTeam member airlines and you can get in for free with Priority Pass, DragonPass, Lounge Key and select corporate cards.
