Boost your Avios by 6x with Qatar
British Airways has had the boost function on Avios for a while now and it is usually the cheapest way to “buy” Avios. It works by being able to times your Avios on most transactions within the last 30 days by 1x, 2x or 3x. Obviously, you need to have a transaction to boost, but if you have a BA credit card that you use or shop using the BA shopping page, then you will be able to use it.
Now Qatar have come up with a similar concept. However, this one allows you to boost by up to 6x. The disadvantage is that you will have to credit transactions to your Qatar Privilege account which won’t suit people who want to earn BA tier points.
With Qatar as well as being able to boost x6, you can boost any Avios that you collected within the past three months. If you earned Avios on a flight, hotel stay or car rental during your journey, you can boost them.

Up to 125,000 bonus Virgin Points with Virgin Money
If you are considering moving your pension, it is worth considering Virgin Money’s pension to see if it suits your needs, as they are offering a huge bonus of up to 125,000 Virgin Points through Virgin Red.
You could earn up to 125,000 Virgin Points by transferring one or more pensions worth at least £1,000 into a Virgin Money Pension. To qualify, you need to do it by 23 August 2024 and keep it with Virgin until 20 December 2024. You’ll also need to be or become a Virgin Red member to spend your points.
If you have a Virgin Money Pension already, and you’ve asked to transfer a pension to them online since 8 January 2024, you’re included too.
