Earn Double Avios with Uber for Business Until the End of 2025
Uber for Business has extended its popular double Avios offer, which was first introduced in October 2024. The promotion will now run until the end of 2025.
How Does It Work?
The double Avios offer is available to anyone who has linked their business profile to their company account. Once linked, you’ll earn 2 Avios for every £1 spent (as long as you’ve linked your account with British Airways). Even if you don’t use Uber cars, you can also book trains and coaches through the app.
You can read more about how to link your accounts here >>>
If you haven’t already, here’s how you can link your Uber account with British Airways:
Why Link Your Profile?
In addition to earning double Avios, Uber for Business profiles come with several useful features designed to make business travel run smoothly:
- Automated expense claims: No more chasing receipts; expenses are automatically logged and submitted.
- On-policy premium perks: Priority pickups, access to executive vehicles, and dedicated customer support.
- Better travel management: By linking profiles, travel managers can track staff journeys.
Jenna Brown, Director of Uber for Business UK, commented:
“We’re really pleased with the uptake we’ve seen since introducing the double Avios offer. Given its popularity, we’re more than happy to keep it running. ”
“The aim is to reward business travellers for their loyalty but also to encourage riders who are yet to link their profiles to do so. There are so many great features available to riders when they connect to their company account, it would be a shame if anyone was missing out on these benefits. It’s great that the Double Avios has helped to bring them to our riders’ attention.”
This promotion is an easy way to earn extra Avios. If you haven’t linked your profile yet, now’s the time to do it. Uber for Business is now present in 70+ countries in 10,000+ cities.
Liverpool John Lennon Airport to Open Spacious and Luxurious New Aspire Lounge This Summer
Liverpool John Lennon Airport will welcome a brand-new Aspire Lounge this summer. The existing space has proved increasingly popular, and the new space has been designed to meet growing demand.
The lounge is set to open just before the peak summer period begins. It will be over 3 times the size of the current Aspire Lounge and will accommodate more than 200 guests.
The design will take inspiration from Liverpool’s Liver Building, giving the space a distinctive local touch.
The new lounge will also include dedicated toilet facilities, a much-needed improvement over the current Aspire Lounge.
This expansion should help reduce access issues, particularly for Priority Pass holders, who have often struggled to gain entry during busy periods. You can read our guide to lounge access with lounge passes here.
Lucy O’Shaughnessy, LJLA’s Commercial Director, commented,
“With a nod to the City’s iconic Liver Building, this fantastic new lounge will have a look and feel that will reflect the area and city region.”
“The increased capacity and improved facilities will have a real premium feel, giving those passengers looking for somewhere special to relax before their departure, a great start to their journey from Liverpool!.”
“We are also creating a space that will be able to accommodate the growing numbers of passengers using Liverpool both now and into the future too.”
A Premium Option
You can use the classic Aspire Facilities or upgrade to a more premium option. The new space will feature a separate adults-only area called Luxe by Aspire, which will offer private booths, communal workspaces, and better food and drink options, including top-shelf wines and spirits.
Details on how access will be managed for Priority Pass holders haven’t been confirmed yet, but it’s likely this premium section will require an additional fee, similar to No1 Lounge’s ‘Clubrooms’ offering.
Opening Hours and Access
The lounge will be open from 4 am to 9 pm daily. Entry will be available to those who pre-book online, have a Priority Pass membership or similar, or have lounge access included in their travel booking.
The new Aspire Lounge is part of a series of improvements at Liverpool John Lennon Airport. Recent developments have included the opening of Monty’s Diner, a refurbished Kissing Gate Bar and Kitchen, and new coffee shop facilities, all set to improve the overall passenger experience ahead of the busy summer season.
