Free Leading Hotels of the World Leaders Club membership
Leading Hotels of the World covers around 375 independently run luxury hotels in 75 countries. Their loyalty scheme operates in a different way to most schemes as it usually charges $175 for membership which is pretty steep.
However, at the moment they are offering a complimentary one-year membership and 500 bonus points (combined USD 215 value). Redemptions begin at 4,000 points, so 500 points is not really going to be worth having. However, if you think you may stay at a Leading Hotel of the World, it’s worth joining as you get:
- One pre-arrival upgrade annually
- Points earning towards free nights with points. Spend USD 1 = 1 point
- Daily continental breakfast for two
- Upgrade priority upon arrival
- early check-in and late check-out considerations
- Complimentary in-room WiFi.
- Access to exclusive rates and experiences
You can join for free here.

New flights to Nice
Currently, Air France is only flying to one destination from the UK – Paris. Last week they announced a new summer route which could help drive down prices by giving some competition to British Airways.
The airline will fly Nice-Côte d’Azur to/from London (UK) from 28 June 2021. It will operate four times a week on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday for 10 weeks until 5 September. In addition, a Saturday frequency will run between 19 July and 29 August.
