Hyatt sale for Europe, Africa and the Middle East
Hyatt has just launched a new sale to save up to 20% on stays until 4 January 2025 at participating hotels in Europe, Africa, and the Middle East. World of Hyatt members can save even more and get complimentary breakfast each day of their stay. It’s easy and free to join, so it would be worthwhile to get the extra savings.
I tried the code for rebooking an existing stay, and it gave a saving of 20%. However, as usual, there is a catch as it requires full prepayment at the time of booking, and it is nonrefundable with no changes allowed either.
You need to book by 6 June 2024, and use special offer code STAYNOW.
You can find the sale page here.
Etihad free stopover and Jet Blue loyalty tie-up
Etihad Airways has announced the launch of Abu Dhabi Stopover. When booking flights with Etihad, you now have the option to add a stopover and select a complimentary hotel as part of the online booking process. This is something that Qatar offers from time to time so it is good to see Etihad doing something similar. I really like Abu Dhabi as it is less built up than Dubai but still has lots to do and see along with great restaurants and hotels.
You can choose a free stay for one or two nights in a range of premier hotels across the city. Stopover packages are only available when booking directly on etihad.com. There are some decent 5-star hotels available on the program, including the Anantara, Shangri-La, and Grand Hyatt.
You can find the stopover page here.
Etihad’s boarding pass also doubles up as the Abu Dhabi pass which offers discounts at many of the city’s leading attractions as well as dining experiences.
Etihad and JetBlue partnership
Etihad Airways and JetBlue have announced the addition of loyalty benefits starting 8 May 2024 as part of its long-standing codeshare partnership.
As part of this partnership, members of JetBlue’s TrueBlue loyalty program and members of Etihad Guest, the loyalty program of Etihad Airways, will now be able to earn and redeem Miles in the program of their choice when flying across the network of either airline. This makes Etihad more attractive as it is not part of an alliance and has limited partners for collecting and redeeming. I was very impressed when I flew JetBlue so being able to collect and redeem with JetBlue is a big bonus for flying on Etihad.
Barcelo hotels up to 50% off
If you join the My Barceló program, you can get up to 50% discount using a special promotional code while booking the latest sale.
The discount is not just for Barcelo, but also covers luxury hotels such as Royal Hideaway, Dukes in Dubai, and Occidental hotels. Barcelo’s hotels range from standard modern 4 stars to the more luxurious 5* spa resort Asia Gardens in Spain. I have visited the Royal Hideaway Corales Beach – Adults Only in Tenerife and was very impressed with the modern luxury hotel, which features some suites with pools. There is up to 40% off and an extra 10% off with code 24HAPPYD10 only for my Barceló members.
