Marriott Worldwide is offering up to 20% off stays between 28th October and 17th November 2024, if booked by this Sunday. The offer covers hotels in the US, Canada, Caribbean, Latin America, Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, though availability is limited.
If you are looking for a last minute hotel in London there could be some good deals including the Four Points Express, Euston that Michele recently reviewed here.
You need to be a Marriott Bonvoy member to enjoy the full 20% discount on the Standard Rate, while non-members receive 15%. These rates are per night for stays from Thursday to Sunday, with certain exceptions in the Middle East. The offer is available all days of the week at participating resorts.

Gulf Air Launches New Daily Flights from UK to Singapore
Gulf Air is set to launch a daily service from Bahrain to Singapore on 27 October 2024, providing UK travelers with an affordable new route to Southeast Asia. The flights, departing from London Heathrow and Manchester, will use a Boeing 787 Dreamliner and feature Gulf Air’s luxury Falcon Gold Class, offering 26 lie-flat beds, gourmet dining, and enhanced in-flight entertainment.
Flights leave London daily at 9:30am, with Manchester flights five days per week (Wednesday–Sunday) at 10:25am. Return fares start at £2,028 in Falcon Gold from London, and £2,033 from Manchester.
I have checked prices to Singapore from London and Gulf Air are coming out as the cheapest across multiple date ranges in business class.
They have one of the youngest fleets and one of the best business class products so whilst Gulf Air might not be the first airline that comes to mind, I definitely think you should consider them If you are planning on flying to Singapore.

Flying Blue up to 80% Bonus on Buying Points
You can currently receive up to an 80% Miles bonus when you buy Flying Blue miles.
Is this worth it? Only if you have a specific need for the points. I wouldn’t just buy them for the sake of it, although it is quite a good bonus offer.
For example, last November during Black Friday they offered 100% bonus so you can roll the dice and wait to see if they do that again or just secure the 80% now.
The offer is scaled, so the more miles you buy, the bigger the bonus.
4000 + miles receives 50% bonus
12,000 + miles receives 60% bonus
24,000 + miles receives 80% bonus
You can purchase Flying Blue points here.

Great to hear about Gulf Air expanding. I just flew them Bangkok – Singapore – Bahrain – London and overall was impressed, certainly good value for money. Review to come! 🙂
