Qatar Airways ex EU fares
Although the flash sale has ended there are a number of good Qatar fares still around ex EU. The starting points may be not everybody’s cup of tea but it could be a good chance to do a two-centre holiday and visit Russia at the same time (remember you will need a Visa to visit Russia). Be aware that some of the aircraft on these routes are showing as short-haul configured aircraft so make sure you do your research if a flatbed is important to you.
The fares must be booked by 30 November and are for travel until 31 March 2019. Minimum stay is 3 days. The fares can be changed or cancelled for a very hefty fee.

British Airways route changes and news
British Airways is suspending its service from London Heathrow to Tallinn from Friday 29 March 2019. The route currently operates twice weekly. For some unknown reason, despite Tallin only being 25 miles shorter than Helsinki from London, BA decided to only award 40 tier points in business class on this route whereas on Finnair via Helsinki you would get 100. It is easy to see with the Finnair A350 also on the London route why people in the know may have preferred to stick with Finnair. If you already were booked on this route you will get a refund.
There will be a lounge change at Munich Airport as the British Airways Galleries Lounge closed from 1 November 2018 for redevelopment. The alternative will be the Airport Lounge World which is a brand-new lounge, part of the major transformation plans happening throughout Munich Airport. There are showers, restrooms, a large seating area, bar, as well as a selection of hot and cold food. After security turn left and head towards an elevator signposting the lounge.
