Virgin Atlantic sale now live
Virgin Atlantic and Virgin Holidays have already launched their Boxing Day sales today. The Holidays sale offers some substantial discounts on hotels such as 50% off the O2 Beach Club Hotel in Barbados, which is a great all-inclusive option.
You may want to hold off until Boxing Day, as they often add in extra discounts after Christmas.
You can find the Virgin Holidays sale page here.
Virgin Atlantic has also launched a flight only sale. I have not found any spectacular discounts but there are some fairly solid prices I’d be happy to book for a UK departure. The cheapest prices seem to be for October/November next year.
Here is the best I have found so far: (all return business class from London unless otherwise stated)
- London/Manchester – New York £1646
- Chicago £2002
- Montego Bay £1937
- St Lucia £2169
- Barbados £2228
- Washington DC £1969
- Boston £2007
- Las Vegas £2382
- San Francisco £2296
- Grenada £1719

Singapore Airlines today announced a five-times weekly direct service from London Gatwick to Singapore Changi Airport, offering greater choice and connectivity to Southeast Asia and beyond. The route will commence from London on 22 June 2024, with a promotional fare of £645pp in economy return to Singapore, available to book from tomorrow (19 December) at singaporeair.com. There is also a promotion on business class fares for the route, but they have not announced the prices yet. The fares must be booked before 15 January 2024 at singaporeair.com, for travel in Business Class (22 June to 30 November 2024), and Premium Economy Class and Economy Class (22 June to 10 July 2024 and 14 August to 30 November 2024).
You can use Virgin Atlantic points on Singapore, so this could be a good opportunity to look for a redemption when the tickets are released tomorrow.
