Flight offers
Flight offers are pretty slim at the moment since we are between sales. I would expect there to be some better deals popping up around the Coronation or other UK Bank Holidays.

London to Australia under £2300 business class
There is currently a good offer from the relatively new Bamboo Airlines, which started in 2019. They have modern B787 aircraft with decent 1-2-1 lie flat business class seats.
The deal does not seem to be available except direct from their own website so far. I found deals to Australia (Melbourne and Syndey) for £2272 from Gatwick, which is much cheaper than most current business class fares. The drawback is that they are not easy to find (most days show no flights available). They only seem bookable via the Bamboo Airlines website and app.
So if you are interested, you will need a lot of time and patience scrolling through dates to find one with an available flight. Obviously, they also fly to a range of other destinations in Vietnam at reasonable prices too.
There is currently a special offer with 20% off business class flights with two or more passengers travelling together.
- 20% off – applicable for Business Smart class
- 10% off – applicable for Business Flex class
The offer is valid for purchase until 31 May 2023, but there is no travel period. I tried it, and the reduced prices showed automatically when I added two people.
Thanks to Jenna for the tip.
Since most readers won’t be familiar with Bamboo Airlines, I thought it was also worth sharing Reader Craig’s mini review.

Hi Michele
What would be the general travel dates for those flight offers at the top of this article?
e.g. Sofia to Singapore with Qatar £1769?
Many thanks
Guy
They vary quite a bit but most are available over a wide range of dates but usually a couple of months in advance. The Sofia one is available from June onwards.
Hiya, been searching Bamboo website for a while, can’t find any flights from LGW to SYD? Do you have an example?
Thanks
Kevin
The one I found was Melbourne in August but they do advertise Sydney as well from LGW.
