New Amex luxury hotels £100 off
Yet again, an offer I would expect to be on the Platinum and Gold cards is instead on the BA Premium Plus Amex. As well as earning Avios and companion vouchers, it is always worth taking into consideration whether you would also get value from the offers, which often consist of travel-related statement credits.
The new offer seems to amalgamate a random group of hotels into the Amex Stays collection.
If you save the offer to your card, you will get a £100 statement credit when you make a single, eligible transaction of £400+ online or at selected hotels by 30/11/2023. The good news if you have a few London stays planned is that it is valid up to ten times, once per participating brand. You need to check the terms for each hotel carefully as there are a lot of exclusions that vary.
The hotels are all luxury ones and I have stayed in a few of them that I highly recommend.
Here are our reviews:
It is worth bearing in mind that you can combine the offer with booking through GTC who can offer extra perks on many of these hotels such as free breakfast and upgrades.
Oman Air sale with up to 20% off
I was really impressed when I flew Oman Air. The seats are comfortable and private, everything feels luxurious and the food and drink were great. You can read my review here.
Oman Air is due to join oneworld next year, although we don’t know exactly when. They have launched a new sale with up to 15% off Business Class and 20% off Economy Class on the entire network (excl. domestic, JED and MED). The sale is on until 28 September 2023 for travel until 15 March 2024.
Most of the UK prices are not great although there are a couple which are slightly below average. However, if you can go ex Europe then there are more substantial savings.

Barcelo’s hotels range from standard modern 4 stars to the more luxurious 5* spa resort Asia Gardens in Spain. I have visited the Royal Hideaway Corales Beach – Adults Only in Tenerife and was very impressed with the modern luxury hotel which features some suites with pools.
