Spring Accor Offer: Up to 3x Reward Points on Longer Stays
Accor has just launched a tempting offer for stays between 31st March and 9th June 2025. You can earn:
- 2x reward points on stays of 3-4 nights
- 3x reward points on stays of 5+ nights
Only participating hotels in Europe and North Africa are eligible for this promotion.
To get your bonus points, you must:
- Book by 27th April.
- Be a member of the Accor ALL rewards programme (free to join)
- Activate the offer before your stay. You can do this here.
Accor has a huge umbrella of over 2,000 hotels worldwide, from luxury hotels like Sofitel, Fairmont, and Raffles to budget brands like Ibis. There are also plenty of midscale hotels like Mercure and Notovel.
Points can add up quickly. 2,000 points are worth €40 (around £33.35). The standard rate of points earned without promotions is 2.5 points per €1 (excluding a few budget brands). With the offer, you will earn:
- 5 points per €1 on stays of 3-4 nights.
- 7.5 points per €1 on stays of 5+ nights.
You could also opt to convert your Accor points to airline programmes like BA (2:1), Qatar (2:1) and Iberia (1:1 – better value).
Example
Bonus points can add up quickly. For example, a 5-night stay at Raffles Warsaw for two people (1st-6th June) would cost £2,030.30 and would earn you 6,030 points as a Classic Member. With the offer activated, you would earn 18,240 points!
Points are earned based on Classic status. You will not earn extra bonus points if you hold other status levels. However, the number of base points you earn would be higher, bringing the total number of points to more than 18,240! As a Gold member, you would earn 21,159 points on the same stay, and as a Diamond member, you would earn 24,320 points!

Ryanair Launches a ‘Ryanair Prime’ Membership – Worth the Money?
Ryanair has just launched a ‘Ryanair Prime’ Membership priced at £79 per year.
According to Ryanair:
“Prime” members who fly 12 times per year will save up to £420 (more than 5 times the £79 “Prime” subscription fee). Even members who only fly 3 times per year will save £105 – that’s more than the £79 cost of becoming a “Prime’ member”.
But will a Ryanair Prime Membership really save you money?
Here’s what membership would give you:
Free Seat Selection on Up to 12 Ryanair Flights Per Year
This is only on ‘selected rows’. There is no info on which rows will be included yet. This isn’t ideal if you’re not travelling solo. Your travel companions will either need their own Prime membership or pay for seats separately.
It’s also not great for families, as you cannot mix Prime and non-Prime members on the same booking unless they are infants. Children can’t get a Prime membership!
The cheapest Ryanair seat selection hovers around £10 per flight. If you fly at least eight flights a year, the membership is potentially worth it. But then you must consider whether your travel plans may change in the coming year.
Even if you plan to renew, you can’t book a flight during your current membership period that departs after your subscription ends.
Regular Exclusive Fare Deals Via Email
We don’t yet know how good these fare discounts/sales will be, but considering that if you’re flexible, you can get a Ryanair fare for a very low price, I wouldn’t imagine they would save you much – unless there are some cheaper fares during peak times.
Discounts must be booked and flown within your membership year. This limits how far ahead you can book.
Ryanair also only promised one sale per month…
Travel Insurance
This is not your typical travel insurance, but it may help with basic reimbursements. The policy covers a limited number of scenarios, such as cancelling your flight due to illness or injury, unplanned medical treatment abroad, and’ out-of-pocket’ costs due to baggage being delayed, damaged, destroyed, or stolen. Some benefits also have limits and excess payments.
There are also many scenarios where you aren’t covered, such as if your claim relates to a pre-existing condition or Covid-19. The policy also does not cover people over 70 (including if you turn 70 during the membership).
You can read the full cover document here.
Other Things to Note
- You must cancel auto-renewal if you don’t want to be charged again. Once your renewal kicks in, you cannot get a refund.
- Membership is limited to 250,000 customers on a first-come, first-served basis. This is most likely a marketing ploy to make people feel the need to sign up quickly.
- Membership automatically renews
This membership follows in the footsteps of other low-cost airlines offering membership plans, including eastJet Plus and Wizz Air ‘All You Can Fly’ – both of which are better offers than this one!
The only way you will get value from this membership is if you use it to choose seats worth more than £79 per year (and you would have paid to choose seats anyway). It’s a shame this membership doesn’t cover things like priority boarding and baggage!
Nevertheless, the right kind of flyer could find value from this. This one’s not for luxury travellers, but there are plenty of Ryanair routes with no direct competition, especially from airports outside London.
With recent Club Europe changes, many people are reconsidering BA short-haul and looking for better value elsewhere!

The Accor triple points promo is a great way to maximize stays, especially for frequent travelers. Ryanair Prime also seems like an interesting addition—wondering if it’ll truly provide enough value for regular flyers!
